Web Site / Multimedia Designer

Position Description:

The position we have available calls for a very talented web site / multimedia designer. A proven creative talent and the ability to meet project deadlines within a structured design and development program are keys to this position.

The right candidate will use original graphic design talent coupled with a proven skill set to seamlessly collaborate with programmers, content coordinators, marketing staff and search engine optimization specialists to create highly professional web sites and web based applications. It is important to understand that this position is an intricate part of a design, development and search optimization development team, and that all web based designs and creative works will be required to integrate with certain functionality and accommodate search engine optimization requirements.

Our designers create high end custom graphics and do not use templates. We are commonly asked to produce sophisticated flash components for navigation, training and multimedia pieces. Video and still photography are often involved. The perfect candidate would have a number of years of experience in this area and at this level.

Requirements:

Candidates should be able to professionally interacting with clients during initial presentations as well as during the design phase of all projects. You must be professional and effective at communicating ideas and assisting clients in achieving their design objectives.

Photoshop CS3 Extended - Very comfortable and talented with this program.
Illustrator CS3 - Comfortable with this program.
Flash CS3 Professional - Very comfortable and talented with this program. (HTML and Action script 2 or 3 is an advantage)
Dreamweaver CS3 - Comfortable with this program.
After Effects CS3 Professional - Experienced or more and comfortable with the program.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 - Experienced or more and comfortable with the program.
Soundbooth CS3 - Limited experience or more and comfortable with the program or similar software.

Compensation:

Attractive base salary dependant on experience and talent, medical, paid vacation, sick days and holidays in the first year, (after a 90 day probationary period).

PHP/MySQL Web Application Developer

Position Description:

This position calls for an individual who has demonstrated the ability to participate in the application design and functionality process, and then develop the necessary PHP code and MySQL database functionality to meet a project's deliverables.

As a Programmer on our staff you will be required to participate in new development projects and perform updates and adjustments to many of our client's current PHP/MySQL web applications. It is important to understand that this position is an intricate part of a design, development and search optimization development team, and that all programming must accommodate and enhance certain search engine optimization requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates should be able to professionally interacting with clients during initial presentations when necessary as well as during the development phase of projects. You must be professional and effective at communicating ideas and assisting clients in achieving their interactive functionality objectives.

Your responsibilities will require a efficiency with the following: 

PHP (version 4/5)
PHP Framework and or CMS
Experience with implementing/integrating 3rd party solutions such as shopping carts, blogs, forums, etc.
MySQL database development.
HTML, XHTML, CSS.
XML, JavaScript.
Generally familiar with Adobe CS3 Master Collection - Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver mainly.

Technical Sales Consultant

Position Description:

At BoomClient we are in the business of helping companies do more business by capitalizing on the advantages of using the Internet as a key component of their business success strategy. We help our clients use the Internet to do everything from advertise and market their business, sell products and services online, provide complex interactive training and just about any level of service and support for their customers. If a company wishes to do something online, we specialize in engineering, designing and developing ways for them to do so.

We are currently seeking highly motivated business sales professionals to represent BoomClient. We need career oriented people to identify potential clients who could benefit from our services, effectively present them, and to be able to clearly understand the goals of the client. Then with the assistance of our designers, application engineers and SEO/SEM specialists, prepare a solution that meets the client's design, operational and performance goals and falls within their budget.

Requirements:

Technical Sales Consultants are primarily responsible to market our suite of web design and development, search engine optimization and marketing, and marketing consulting services to new and existing clients in the Jacksonville metropolitan area. You will need to be comfortable in a technical sales and consultative sales scenarios, meet sales goals, and effectively interact with our design, development and SEO/SEM staff to assist in meeting the objectives of our clients.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Prospecting and networking
  • Regular presentations and meetings with perspective clients
  • Preparing project diagrams and proposals
  • Interacting with design and development team

Training and Compensation:

While technical sales experience is a plus, only professional business sales experience with a history of success is important. All new consultants will complete a detailed training program designed to fully prepare you to properly represent BoomClient. Upon completion you will posses a technical understanding of the web and how it works, fully understand search engines and how they work and think, and have a solid working understanding of how we create highly interactive web site and web based applications that allow our client's web sites to consistently outperform their competitors.

The Technical Sales Consultant compensation package is a full time employee position and includes a generous commission structure with an expected earnings of 40k to 70k+ in the first year. Benefits include medical compensation, paid vacation, sick days and holidays in the first year, (after a 90 day probationary period).
